Rejection process?

Does anyone know what is the rejection process? I received my BIL(Biometrics Instruction Letter) on 22nd July. As I have read in previous posts, biometrics and eligibility are processed at different times and biometrics are triggered as soon as medical is passed and completion check is done. So, my question is this: just in case if I do not pass eligibility, will they send rejection letter before I even get the chance to give biometrics, or will they stretch it out until I give my biometrics and then reject my application?
if anyone has any knowledge/ insight regarding this matter please share. Thank you!

Buddy they wont reject your application for not giving Biometrics in the current situation unless ur not in canada and in some other country for instance if you are outland and the Biometrics centers are open in there and if you dont give them right away when you get appointment then they will reject for not submitting. In case if you got appointment a month later from now because of limited working hours or whatever the reason just send and LOE submitting your appointment proof that the delay is not on ur side using webform to IRCC.
Whereas if you are inland u have to wait until you recieve call and there is no way they will reject your application unless you responded to call and denied to provide your biometrics.
My PR application Bio due date expired i passed more than 90days and they wont reject the application..i have to wait for the call to book appointment for Biometrics.

So dont worry you can check in IRCC biometrics page they were keep on saying we wont reject or refuse your application even if you crossed 90 days due..its all because of COVId as you know.

Biometrics is for security/background check, eligibility is the review of your documentation vs CRS points you claimed. Eligibility can be reviewed and rejected even months after biometrics were given, you can find many examples of rejection cases on this same forum.

I think his question is whether they wait to collect biometrics before sending the rejection

What I'm trying to explain is biometrics has nothing to do with eligibility check. Rejection can happen at any time during the process for multiple reasons, before or after biometrics.

Can confirm, in my last application I received a rejection letter 3 days after my background was passed. I was missing some information in my documents so they couldn't confirm my eligibility for Canadian Experience Class.

So they waited for you to give your biometrics to tell you that you were rejected because you did not meet eligibility? Or did they send you rejection letter as soon as they determined that you're ineligible?

I got the rejection letter as soon as they determined I was ineligible

Oh. Okay. Sorry for the rejection. And thanks for answering! Just one more thing though. Did you give your biometrics?
Last time I applied was inland last year, so I actually didn't have to give it, they started requiring it for inland applicants this year.

Yeah I know that rejection can happen at any stage irrespective of biometrics. But my question is that even if they reject my file BEFORE I give biometrics, will they wait until after I submit my biometrics to give the decision? Or they wont wait and give me the decision right away?

What was the reason for your rejection if you don’t mind me asking?
I didn't have my job duties/responsibilities in the job offer or letter of employment, so the officer couldn't assert my canadian experience for the NOC I informed.
