Is it true that students who took CERB are getting their work permit rejected?
Rejected reason being : They showed their funds were sufficient for the education and living expenses for 2 years but still they applied for CERB.
CERB is likely part of the whole picture. If they are receiving CERB and not working people are unlikely to get the work permit extended.
Receiving CERB may well be considered for study permit extensions, but of course for a PGWP there are no extensions. And there is still zero actual evidence that CERB recipients are having their PGWP applications rejected for that reason.
I took cerb and still got my work permit approved.

I have heard of students getting their work permit rejected if they have applied for CERB. Also, I would like to know what if we return the amount of CERB back before applying for the work permit, can this solve the issue?
