Do you mean study permit? Ask your school what is the last day that you must start classed or defer.
Hey, since I didn't want to start a new forum that's why I'm asking here. Is the visa still being given despite the diplomatic relations in tension at the moment?

Yes. But IRCC has reduced the number of approvals for all countries. Applicant has a better chance if going to a public DLI and taking a program in a demand field as outlined on the PGWP site.

You've been waiting since March which is not normal.. Instead of just waiting ahead, you should definitely contact an immigration lawyer who can help you understand your case better and give you guidance.. also if you could contact a local MP in your province where you've applied or through someone you know in Canada..

Plus, people are literally getting their visa's every other day. The diplomatic row is only leading to a prolonged stamping of the visa not issuance.

Immigration Lawyer is expensive and I don't wanna spend that much. Can an MP do something about my file or get my decision done?

It is actual normal in some cases and some profiles. You can’t contact an MP in Canada randomly from abroad if you aren’t a constituent or you don’t have close family members (typically spouse or children) in Canada.

I know someone who did and got a very positive response. A few more people, who contacted someone through family who're citizens there and they received their exact status of application. I was not stating things out of the blue.
