Hi all,

can we show parent's fixed deposit and bank account statement or need something like joint bank account with parent's,if any.Do cic consider it as reliable source if the applicant is single(Unmarried).

it's not acceptable. money has to be in principal applicant's account only but in joint account with spouse is acceptable.

I agree with shibleebd, as far as I know the only account besides your own you can show your funds in your spouse account. Better to do like this, it is a risk and will be a nonsense rejection, better put all funds into your account.

sudden deposit of large amount in account will alsno need explanation. so be careful.

Dear Del-Chd,

No other opinions r required... what the previous members have opined holds good. U cannot use your parent's bank statements for your case filing. It has to be in either yours, or one of your 'accompanying' dependents, jointly or singularly & can be in multiple formats.
