Thank you for your previous comments. This is regarding settlement of funds.

I made a fixed deposit as a joint account with my mother. I made this 8 months ago. can this fixed deposit joint account be used as a proof of available funds? My mohter is not immigrating.

No.

Proof of funds can be in joint account with family members who are migrating with you.

As per the Canada instruction guide your mother is not considered family for canada immigration purpose and joint account with her will not work as Proof of funds

Earlier it was but now it is not. I have lot of fund in joint name with my family in India so I have sent those but will not suggest anyone to do so as there is a delay in my case and do not know the reason.
