REGARDING PASSPORT APPLICATION FOR FIRST TIME

Hi ,

I do appreciate if anyone has idea about , after take oath and apply for passport ,but before to get passport ,i may leave .So ,can i get my passport via consulate if i am not in Canada and USA .Is it possible .plz let me know

It will take more time and money to do it abroad, best you get your passport before you leave.

Thanks both of your replies .So ,it means i can get my passport abroad even i apply after oath to fulfill their requirement .Because ,i heard one of my friend ,he is also unsure ,he told me first time u will get your passport from Canada ,but i dont think so ,its true .Let me clear this .Thanks .

You can apply for passport on urgent basis (24 hours) or express (1 week).

They say 10 business days, but some people have said they received it in a shorter time. If you don't need it right away, no need going for express($50 more) or urgent ($100 more).

I applied for express, the agency accomodates to your travel dates, between 2 and 10 days, so if your travel will be in 4 days, they tell you to pick it up in 3 , the day before or if you need to apply for visa then earlier. A great approach from passport Canada
