All,

I came to canada last week for the training program where the company is located in ottawa, canada. I would like to apply PR for canada. I have the Tourist visa with multiple entries stamp in my passport. My passport get expire on 2017.

Do I have the eligibility to apply. How about the possibility on getting the PR, if so?

What are the steps to apply PR.

Some please help me, as Im in emergency need for the PR.

thanks
SR

@ramesh4f

Obviously there is an information gap, as the very idea of "PR" application and "emergency" in the same breadth shows.

Make yourself a warm cup of your favorite beverage and click on the link below.

My guess is that you will best be thinking about express entry. Happy reading.

No - you don't have a chance to get a PR visa through the 2014 FSW program. CIC is only accepting applications under this program until the end of December. To submit a complete application, you must write an English test (IELTS) and also have your education assessed. There isn't enough time to do these things and submit your application before the end of December.

You should read about the new Express Entry program that will be opening in January. Again, it is too late to apply under the 2014 program.

Detailed information about Canada's immigration programs can always be found on the official CIC web site. Please check there first before asking for links in the future: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/express/express-entry.asp
