Hi, i just want to know the chances of getting approved as spouse after the refusal of conjugal partner. we got married after a year. Will the refusal affect the new application if ever? thank you!
i think he means CIC found no legal barriers that would have stopped them from becoming common lawYour response isn't all that clear. Are you saying that you were refused because CIC said you lived together for a year before the sponsor came to Canada and became a PR? Or are you saying something else?
As long as you never lived together for 12 months before you got your own PR status, then I also agree your previous rejected conjugal app should have no negative impact on your current app. In fact if the previous conjugal app actually found you had established relationship clearly and only reason for rejection was no barriers to common-law/marriage, that could actually benefit your current app since the visa officer will see the previous officer accepted your relationship as valid already.Im sorry about that. yeah, they were not satisfied that we do not have legal barriers in staying together and become a common law back home.
