Don't worry Asta.. every case is different.. Hopefully OP will find a resolution to this.

aww... I'm so sorry this happened :( it's heartbreaking

to the pp, my husband and i are 11 years apart, from completely different backgrounds, had a private (just the two of us) wedding ceremony and he never met any of my family when we applied... we were approved (and in near record time for our application office)... so those are not at all the only factors that are looked at and lacking them doesn't at all mean a refusal....

honestly i wanted to have a very small wedding with only me and him on a beach. but when i though of the immigration papers, i just went along and let my mother invite everyone..like 200 people. it was a very stressful day...i don't like to be surrounded by so many people (even though they are my family) the whole ceremony took a toll on me! my hubby promised we would do one just for us :D

Hi, I was just looking at your situation and a couple of things confused me....

Your quote: Her main concern was that we did not have a house or car together. She said a baby don't mean nothing. Well we don't have a car because neither one of us drives and a house because you can't even afford rent on one income let alone a house. We also took more evidence to our interview in which she barely looked at.

And then in the evidence you mentioned that you had pictures of you painting your new house? Did you have proof of a contract for the lease?

Your quote Not much in the way of email/phone calls. We have been together every day since about a month after he came here. And he didn't have a computer at first and is a little bit on the illiterate side when it comes to technology. But we have been living together for over 3 yrs.. [/quote]

With this quote I was wondering how long he had been in Canada before you got married and how long you had been together before you got married and where had you been living for the 3 years you have been together

Please don't think I'm trying to be picky, but thought about what you wrote and trying to tie in your evidence.

sorry if i missed but what nationality is ur husband?

just wondering where and how to get FOSS notes as i think it's helpful.

This story is just heartbreaking. *SIGH* I just read the new regulations and it seems like IOs now have more right to be subjective of their decision. It's not fair for those who have genuine relationships.
