They asked for my fingerprints and after 2 weeks they rejected.

Do You have any criminal history? What is the reason for refusal, what their email say?

"I got a refusal from cec states that i dont have enough job training to be a chef and they said that u don't have any certification from food industry which usually need for chef."

But why would they ask for a fingerprints, if they find him not aliable to apply under cec as a chef?

Because they send RCMP requests in batches and sometimes way before processing one's application.

Lots of people here are saying that they do a name check and then send a RCMP.. I was just thinking that they start processing application before that. My bad, I guess.

Ah, thank you, true enough, you'd need an LMO for the the FSW/Arranged employment, and that won't happen with the moratorium. And it looks like cooks & chefs have been shifed to the skilled trades program - Do look into the skilled trades program -

I am on pgwp here i am not eligiable under fedral skill trade programme. I am thinking to apply under pnp as chef. Because now i have a year and half working as a chef. Is it ok to apply.

Thats the thing i am wondering bcz if i put as a cook now its goona be negative point bcz i applied in fedral as chef so i am thinking its better to put as chef and i will get separate letter from employer that states that i am working as chef. This is m planning to do now n i hope it will work but not sure.

I am sorry to hear that. You still have 30 days from the date of that refusal letter to appeal, try to fill as many as evidence you could. Firstly, go and get yourself a good lawyer. Gather evidence and email CPC. I wish you all the best

It is not a "negative" to correct an error... and why would you repeat it? In any case, review the job requirements for both chef and cook, be honest with yourself, and then go for it.

In reality i am a chef doing the chef duties and supervision the staff at job. But they refused me now i have a year experiance to show under pnp my lawyer said that we can apply under pnp.

Do you have any food-related certification? the least you could get is a "food-handler certificate" you can google it and look for the program offered near where you live. The one I did was a one day course - you attend the class and on the same day they give you a test based on the information given that day - it's very easy.

Ya i will get that certificate and i will wait another 6 month and reapply in cec again. Bcz i not eligiable in pnp anymore bcz i only can apply within two years after i got my diploma.
