Please is there something I didn't get right? I stated the purpose of our visit as tourism as I applied with my husband.
I have been to Switzerland with my husband for our honeymoon in 2013 and we came back way before the visa expired. We applied to the U.S after our return from Switzerland, which they granted us a visa. I was Preggy which I told the US immigration at the point of entry and they stamped me for 1 month as against 6 months. US immigration advised I should 1st return to Nigeria after my visit and come back to the US if I will like to birth in the U.S but unfortunately, I fell a little ill and my Doctor confirmed I was not fit to fly hence I applied for extension which was granted.
We traveled afterwards (with my Husband and baby). My visa has been renewed twice and before my second birthing, I informed US immigration and they gave a go-ahead provided I pay all my medical bills which I did. Our visa has been renewed by the US after my second birthing.
I just came back from the U.S though I didn't travel with my family but I currently have a one valid US visa. During the application, among other documents submitted were the bio-data page of our two kids' passport who are US nationals. We're operating a private business here with strong assets base. I was surprised when I received there refusal message:
"I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit".
What could be their reason for this refusal? Is there any link with the U.S extension? Or is there something else?
Please advise.
