Hi all,
I've first searched for 'refusal' in this forum and haven't found any information related to our situation, hence this post.
We applied for common-law partner sponsorship (outland) in September and in Feb we received a letter of appeal stating that the application has been refused. It mentioned in the letter that 'a copy of the refusal letter was attached', but there is no other document other than the letter of appeal. In addition, in the system it still says 'application in process' so we are wondering what to do. Is it a system mistake that they didn't send this refusal letter yet or we are supposed to receive this refusal letter after?
Can anyone advise how to appeal, if we don't know why they refused the application? How likely is this a mistake?
-I was approved as a sponsor
-no interview was requested
-all other steps like medical, biometrics were already completed
