Refund Method ??

Hi Guys,

I paid online and enclosed the receipt with the application... guess what... they returned the file not accepting this mode of payment!

I have filled the credit card authorisation form again and sent the file back to CIC.

I have sent them fax asking for the refund for previous transaction, i was wondering how does one get the refund, credit reversal on the same credit card or do they send the bankers cheque?

Any idea?

if i may ask why did they not accept mode of payment.
i also just paid online still did not send the file, will do that tomorrow.
is it because you are outside Canada, or not a federal skilled worker or what?

I think its both the reasons, I have applied in FSW & outside Canada so I guess both the reasons, not sure tough! I have lost 2 months in this, I applied on 9th Sept and my file came back on 9th Nov due to this wrong payment method.

I have resent the application with Fee Payment Form – Application for Permanent Residence – Federal Skilled Worker (IMM 5620), here I gave my credit card details for them to debit (under credit card authorisation section of the form).

I have applied for the refund by sending them FAX and not sure when to expect and Not even sure how they will refund !!!

now i'm getting kinda worried i already paid today and they charged my credit card
but still did not send the application. i hope someone who paid by credit card in september would answer you cause i also want to know if i should ask for refund before sending the application and what is the correct payment method.

i asked here before and was given an answer that they accept credit card payment from outside Canada, only for FSW.
If someone know otherwise can you please answer here?

did you also send the receipt from your payment + form 5620?

No since I had paid ONLINE, I had sent the receipt only not the form but they returned the application after 2 months with the form.

Now I have filled the form and resent the same application.

CIC also gave an address and fax number for me to send a refund request which I did and now waiting!!!

PS: I applied under 0213 under FSW.
