Refugee Travel Document Processing Time

Here's my timeline:
June 29th : Sent out the mail
July 3rd, 2024: they received the mail
September 5 today: No references received any calls yet, and the IRCC said on phone they have the application and messaged the office that the application is overdue and the processing times have passed, but they said it has been 3 weeks they sent that message and no reply from the office.

I believe it's not necessary to call for the references as i got my RTD without being contacting the references.

My friend got his rtd within 11 days. They did not call references. The biggest problem about ircc is every agent do their job depends on their mood. There is no standard.

i Applied on May15 for all family only my kid did not receive yet every time i call they simply said the same thing as yours. Its only depends on officer if s/he is responsible you can get earlier as we got except my kid but if officer is not in mood to work then it will take unlimited time until officer awakes.

I applied for a refugee travel document on October 16th. I just called IRCC to check, and it has still not been reflected in the system. The people working there at the IRCC are very reckless.

No option to track through website.
You can call IRCC, they 'll verify you with DOB, UCI, address etc. They can provide the status of your application.

Applied on October, 29, asked for urgent processing. It was not processed urgently. Sent over 10 web forms,called once. Mrntioned many times that I am willing to pick up. Tried sending a pre-paid fedex label. Today they told me they have "successfully mailed" my document to me on November, 29th. I am yet to see how they mailed it, considering cupw strike...Will know what really happened in the next few days.

I held a 5 year validity RTD in the past, and I am a PR for many years.

They said they sent out my passport november 27th. I called ircc got no tracking number hopefully will get it this week
