I fully agree. It Is crazy and we all get stressed over it. This is why we congregate here, to try and help/support each other.

This immigration process is extremely stressful on its own without adding the pregnancy hormones!(am a mother of three) I know all about those:)lol-Try to take it easy, one step at a time and we'll all get there eventually,I have cried about this more times than I can count, even while not pregnant!lol
Big hugs()

ya but they asked him to go :( but i honestly think the only reason he ended up under a removal order is because his refugee claim was denied almost a year ago! If his lawyer would have told u sthat we would have put the papers in asap :(

aww and thank you mrembo, good to see im not alone in this lol

You didn't say where you are living yet.

shoot sorry im in kitchener, ontario....

did he receive an exclusion order' ?

If so, he had to leave.

You definately need an Immigration lawyer or Consultant. Best wishes ! 8)

ya i believe it was just a removal order, he has no criminal record or anything and honestly lawyers are damn expensive lol i wont be returning to work until augast

I dont wish to scare you but you are most likely in for a bumpy ride. I paid $3500.00 for my appeal in Toronto. Well worth it (we won)

I HIGHLY suggest you have someone on your side.

My case was straight forward (no ex, no kids) Im still fighting with them 4 years

many have free consultations. You need to go with your gut feeling ! They will all tell you about their high success rates and gladly take your money ! You dont have many choices here.

hey let me see if i can give some help here. first of all YOU NEED NOT WORRY becasue of the new law passed in september were they give temporary residency and you have to leave with your spouse for two years is a safe net, so if its for convenience they have everything covered, second of all the worst that can happen is an interview and trust me he will get one cause he have alot of red flags on his file but none the less he will be treated like everyone else.
next thing is do not allow any lawyer handle you application get yourself a councellor it cheaper and lawyers are only if you need an apeal. get a councellor and when you sending your application put everything in it, everything you can get that involves the two of yourll, especailly the baby, and alos include the ARC and it would be good if you pay for it one time in the form of a bank draft or money order just so that the process wouldnt take to long casue a ARC TAKES two month to process, as the process goes along make sure you skype him back home. get yourself magic jack so you can cal him often, send him some money and keep the western union, also use whatsapp to text him and after a few month take all those records and prepare yourself a STRENGTHENING FILE maybe have your councellor do it for u and send it to them.
last but not least its gonna be a long wait i dont know what country you in but join the forum of your country for more support i hope this helps

I actualy feel a bit better now with this latest reply :) Hes only been gone a month and Ive sent money and we talk every day so I included that proof in the application as well, Its only a months worth but by the time they ask for more ill have tons so im not worried about that. I really think i got this :) Ive also decided im going to send in the ATC next week and than send in the sponsorship stuff the week after because im still waiting for him to send back his medical and police clearance (that has to be included in the sponosrship application right?)

@mizzd i hear you seding something next week and some other stuff this week, dont do that if you going to send stuff for immigration dont send it piece by piece it will get lost or you might end up confusing the officer thus your application will take a much longer time, i dont know were you are with your application or if u did it already, but send everything at once with the application, as far as your western union and your conversation, dont send it until you are at the end of the process, they might ask for an interview you will want him to go to the visa office with it and hand it to them. yes medical and police clearance has to be included. when you are doing the application there is suppose to be a checklist, make sure everything in the checklist is done, again if its not sent it will delay and it will take a much longer time, and you dont want your spouse out for years upon years.

ohh ok so i can just send the ATC and the sponsorship in together, i didnt know i could do that i thought it was seperate, thats good to know though, I have literally everything on that checklist so hopefully nothing is missing. I also realized that my hubby got them to pay for his ticket which is going to run me 1600$ when am i supposed to pay that? (bad legal advice) we realize we should have paid for it ourselves
