Regular case no minister intervention, I got to my lawyer and he said the irb can choose to transfer the file to another province at their convenience due to workload.

Hi guys, Can anyone advise on this: I am hiring a lawyer for the for documentary disclosure to be sent to the IRB and conduct hearing preparation meetings prior to your hearing. Their secretary said the estimated price for this service is 3,000$. Is this a good price?

This is my timeline :

-BOC submitted on June 15, 2023.
-Biometrics and passport seizure on July 13, 2023.
-Medical examination on September 11, 2023.
-The medical passed on October 11, 2023.
-Eligibility interview is scheduled on January 2nd, 2024.

I received an email from the IRCC portal notifying me that they sent a new message about my application.

Has your mom gone for the medical examination?
Based on what I've read in this forum, they will call you for an eligibility interview 1-3 months after passing the medical examination, but it depends on the office where your case is. The workload of the office is the main factor for our application processing time.

I hope your mom will have her eligibility interview soon.

why not check with your lawyer bcos is like they communicate hearing date with lawyer's and I believe u hv ur WP already
