Hi,

The form asks to describe the development of our relationship, proof of common-law relationship, and if we have visited each other.

Is it safe to write please see development of relationship when answering the proof of common-law and the visiting/trips questions, since they are described there? Or do we really have to spell out each answer to them?

Thanks

Each question is requiring slightly different information and each one requires its own answer. The question about visits only wants info on the visits. In your development of relationship answer you can mention visits in general and say something like, "for details see Q.number" and then give the detailed answer in the visits question. Cross-referencing within an answer is fine, although you can't be certain the VO will bother riffling through forms to get the complete answer. It's safest to just answer each question the way they ask.
