just updated to 62 days

No it was 61 days on the website. I checked this morning then checked back this evening and it is now 62 days

The maybe from 62 it went to 61 last week and came back to 62

So after waiting for a couple of extra days i decided to call CIC about my bowp application that i sent on feb 18th.
They let me know that it was approved yesterday and will be mailed today!
for some reason my cic online profile still hasnt been updated, maybe they forgot to do this.
I hope they remember to put it in the mail!

somehow, a relief, knowing somebody is on the same boat as i am.. i thought, mine is an exceptional case... because, based on other forums, we were expecting to receive both at the same time. hopefully, we'll get our SOWP, soonest!!

Hi all,

I made a silly mistake that came to my attention now.

While filling BOWP application for, for question related to document number; i provided file number instead. Will this cause any issue?

My concern is that after I get BOWP, I want to apply TRV as I am running out of time I hope CIC accepts such mistake...

Any comment guys...

Just for your information, I applied my 2nd BOWP online on Feb 17, and my status changed on April 21, and received the permit yesterday (April 23) by regular mail. Hope this help!

Is your spouse is here in canada or outside of canada? Because i have applied for my spouse with my work permit and she is out side of canada.
I could be wrong but if spouse reside outside canada it take longer to complet their application.

Not surprisingly, I am in Ottawa. I suspect it might take more days if you are outside Ontario.

I am outside Canada. I think we made a mistake to include my application together with the BOWP of my husband because we know someone who applied for SOWP in our home country and got approved in two days.

Can please tell how long u have been waiting for ur SOWP since ur husband got his BOWP.

Husband approved of BOWP since April 5, such a long wait now.. Been thinking to withdraw application and apply here outside Canada.
