Hey you applied for bridge open work permit and your wife applied for Open work permit or both applied for bowp because spouse can be added in one application only if i am not wrong ?

I applied on Feb 6 got mine on April 9
Spouse applied on Feb 11 got hers on April 14 (today)

Nope we both applied for BOWP

It has to be separate .. you cannot apply for any permit in 1 application besides PR application

i did not get you. I applied for PR and i am principal applicant so i have Bridge open work permit and added my wife into the file for open work permit because she is elgible for OWP based on my BOWP is this correct?

You added you wife onto the application for that you filled for ur bowp ? So in 1 form you had ur name and ur wifes name too ???

Yes. Principle applicant can add spouse for open work permit. The application is together, but once transmitted, they will give two file numbers.

K never heard of that before. When I filed on Feb 6 for me and Feb 11 for her .. it clearly said spouse needed to file work permit by herself and could not be attached to my file.

Do you think what i have is correct i am tensed because while i field open work permit for my wife it did not ask for open work permit holder fee for her..It only asked for me so i paid only $100

Yo I dont know man ..
ur confusing me and urself too ..I dont understand what ur saying ..
The work permit fee in Feb was 155$ each person. I dont know how u paid 100$ ..

Today I got my BOWP approved, I applied on February 9th.

Everyone hang on and be patient!

I know!!! And imagine it was 43 days when I applied. They're killing me! :-X
