Hi all,

Finally I received my GCMS/CAIPS

Total Points given 73
on Medical Line its written Due date 22/03/2013..my In-process date is 22/03/2012

I also noted ECU-MPR

and at the end its written

ECU - PLEASE REQUEST - PPT, MED, RPRF ( DONT KNOW WHEN THEY WILL REQUEST OR ORDER)

also its written I am satisfied......

But at some places its very confusing one same thing written again and again.

There is no SELDEC, MEDDEC etc In it.

bro u r in the same boat as many of us, who have received the GCMS

the due date under your medical, could be the date when they would want you to complete your medicals.

so its a guess that you will receive your medicals 2-3 months before that due date..

The medical due date is exactly 1 year from the IP date for almost all of us.
ECU-MPR, and the notes contents are almost same for all....

Can someone tell me what is GCMS and how do one apply for this and why ? I mean hat info, will this give us ?

I reckon Your," DUE DATE FOR MEDICALS: March 23,2013" implies that the entire process wrt medicals has got to be copleted by the said date.
You may get medical request well before the due date.
So,please relax .

I received my caips notes in 2nd week of september.
Mine states that File sent to PA and BFD is 23-05-2012
Seldec-1 PSdec-1 at all places
ECU pl. request -MED,RPRF,PPTs , updated POF
No meds validity date mentioned.
No correspondence column.

As per my understanding the following may be the meaning
REQUEST TO ISSUE - LETTER ---- Means the VO has asked to issue 6-12 months wait letter
Due date --20/7/2012 --- The time for the wait letter to send
But the thing is that SDEC and PSDEC should be 1 at all places as ur case is eligible as per the VO remarks.

But I m relaxed by seeing end notes that ECU-Request PPT, MED and RPRF and thankfully no updated POF..we can now utilize our funds.
