Hello guys
Well , today is my birthday, (btw I lost 6 points in CRS) , but when I got home I found a new message in myCIC dashboard

Dashboard :
Application/profile status Open
Province/Territory Nomination No nomination at this time
Job Bank Registration Accepted
Review of Minimum Entry Criteria Met
ITA Status No invitation at this time

Federal Skilled Worker Met
Provincial Nominee Program Not Met
Canadian Experience Class Not Met
Federal Skilled Trades Not Met
Overall Score 322

In my application I chose "All Provinces and Territories" and checked both BC and Ontario autorisation for my infos

the message was from Ontario saying :
Le/La/L' Ontario souhaite examiner la possibilité de vous désigner au titre de son Programme des candidats des provinces (PCP).

I chose to communicate with CIC in french.
Translation : The Ontario wishes to examine the possibility of designating you as part of its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) .

I did not communicate with Ontario
Guys plz confirm : is that the possibility of being nominated ?
I believe they wrote me because I fit in Ontario PNP The French Speaking Stream (god bless you Bellaluna )

NOC : 2151
ECA : Bach.Architecture (WES)
TEF : S387 L259 R212 W407 -> CLB S9 L7 R7 W10 <-------------------CLB 7+
IELTS : S6.5 L7 R6 W5.5 -> CLB S8,L7,R7,W6
EE : 04-03-2016

or is this a normal thing and happens to all EE profiles ?

Actually its your responsibility to check the eleigibility to fit into their programme. I think they need minimum 7 CLB in their English proficiency eligibility. While your writing module has only 6 CLB So I'm sorry to say but you cannot qualify for OINP...!! Though you have already received a interest letter from their but the ultimate responsibility to qualify for the programme is yours...!! Best Luck

When did you create the EE profile. and when did you get notification of interest?

Thanks Aragorn165 , shdhsjej

OI_PNP_EE_FRENCH : http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNP_EE_FRENCH.html
OINP searches the Express Entry pool and identifies potential candidates who meet the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream criteria (see Section 2 for more information):
Minimum of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level of 7 in French and CLB 6 in English;
Minimum work experience for either the FSWP or the CEC criteria;
Equivalent of a Canadian Bachelor’s degree or above;
Sufficient settlement funds; and
An intention to reside in Ontario.
If OINP identifies you in the Express Entry pool, you will receive a PT Notification of Interest from Ontario through your MyCIC account. This notification will invite you to apply to OINP for nomination under the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream.

I don't think it's a Trap , they would not notify their interest if am not eligible
also Aragorn165 (as posted in his profile) got nominated by OI, so i think he got experience in this particular case

btw, I submitted an EI to NB and PEI (I can wait for them, and spare 500$ cos NB PNP is free of charge)

That was fast. Submitted on the 4th too and eagerly waiting for the nomination. Had to withdraw and reapply because I didn't get docs together in 45 days. What was your total score?

@ tanit: IMO you should go for OINP because they don't require licenses for regulated NOCs when applying for PNP, while NB and PEI do, from what I have seen around this forum. You can verify, but that has been my observation.

Indeed you got selected to apply to the OINP French Speaking Skilled Worker stream. People here forget that this exists, but you are indeed qualified for OINP. I want to say I told you so. :) Congrats! It seems OINP reserved invites for francophones. They are not sending too many anymore.

Joyeux anniversaire!

@papapsi hope you get it as well

Merci encore bellaluna, I have to say am not really thinking about license (hope they don't ask for it for the immigration since the only way to have it , is being in canada , and am not)
also, if i can immigrate, i know that am far away from being called "Architect" in canada , but if given the chance am gonna fight for it :)

Yeah, that's the ironic thing about licenses no? You can't get it until you land there.
I have seen a case in the NB PNP thread where they were rejected because they did not have the license (I think it was an accountant NOC). I am not sure about PEI because there are few PEI applicants & nominees so far. I suggest you to contact those PNPs to ask if your architect NOC requires a license to apply, but at least you have OINP as back-up...my NOC is also supposed to be regulated in OINP, but since I am not an inland applicant, I am exempted from the license requirement.

You can also try selecting a non-regulated NOC that also fulfills your past work duties.

I see your scores are low in IELTS if you can simply achieve CLB 9 ---> L8 S7 R7 W7
Then your score will boost up and you will be able to come up above 400. Try it once using the CRS Calculator.

Lately, they've stopped sending out PT's due to some glitches in their website. Lets wait for some more days!!

KUDOS!

It seems you did not get this message.
He has already received PT NOI from Ontario under French skilled EE category for which a particular threshold score is required in TEF exam and no need to achieve CLB 9 in English. If you know French then you can be invited even though you have less than 400 CRS points.
I hope this clarifies your doubt.

I've waited a week now. I've read elsewhere on here that they're saying they're clearing some backlog. Is there some kind of nomination quota from Ontario. This thing is causing me sleepless night. I have a stack of documents ready and now I can submit.

There is a quota for OINP EE PNP and it's 2700 for 2015. How many times have you resubmitted your profile and since when?
For me it took me 2-5 resubmissions before I got a PT. Persistence is key.
