Received ITA - No link for PR Application

Hi,
I received an ITA a couple of weeks back. The following are the instructions included in the document I received:

Apply for permanent residence
If you choose to apply for permanent residence, you will need to do the following:
1. Log into your MyCIC account
2. Go to the section called “applications”
3. Find the application called “permanent residence” and click on it
4. Review and validate the information on the pre-filled form (transferred from your Express Entry profile)
5. Complete the remaining questions
6. Obtain the documents which you must submit with your application (see “checklist” for details)

I do not see the application called "PERMANENT RESIDENCE" anywhere.

Anybody face such problems ? Tried looking up FAQs to get an email address for help, but to no vail.

Please help.

The only tab/link I have is related to the ITA I received and the link to the pdf. Is there a way to accept the ITA and that is when the PERMANENT RESIDENCE link shows up ?

Applications not submitted is EMPTY.

Here is the only entry in my Submitted applications section:

If you are applying from within Canada, better call CIC call centre and at the same time, send CSE and pick the technical issue. the CIC agent might also send you the link to send your issue. In addition, I would suggest that you start gathering your documents and be ready to upload/complete the application once the issue is resolved.

Does anyone know if I can submit documents in paper?

I received a response from case specific request but it only asks me to link my application to account. I created a new account, and tried to link my application again. I found my express entry profile, still can't find the permanent residence link. It is clear that something is wrong backend. I would love to speak to someone in person. If anyone happens to know their office in Toronto or anywhere in Ontario, please let me know. Much appreciated!!! :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Hi Somuch - were you able to find a resolution to your problem? Since I am also facing the exact same issue post ITA....

Any resolution to this issue? I still don't see the link even after 45 days of receiving ITA. Call center folks don't have a clue and directs me to CSE, and so far sent 2 CSE....no response whatsoever since 30 days.

Can paper docs be submitted in the age of Express Entry?

Hello all,

If you have recently linked your account after receiving ITA, this is where the problem lies. I did this back in September and both my ITA and my profile expired even though I sent a CSE on the second day of receiving ITA. I never received assistance.

Sorry to say, if you are experiencing the same issue, you should brace yourself for a similar situation. A CSE is the only thing you can do and looks like there is no fix.

Hi everyone,

There is no fix for the technical issue. In my case, I created the profile after losing my initial profile (used for the original application), then i linked the profile using the ID searching. However, the PR link was sent to the original profile, not the linked one. It is a technical glitch on their system. The problem wasn't resolved in the end. After talking to a few folks, it seems to be a common problem.

Unfortunately, my timing wasn't great and now I don't even have the status after so much delays. Good luck everyone!
