Hello,

I have an IELTS band score of 7. L-7.5, S-6, R-7.5, W-7. I have received my ECA from WES Canada and it says Bachelor Degree (4 Years). I have total of 5 years of work experience. I am expecting my husband's IELTS score on 27th November.

Can I start the PR process with this after 27th November? Or should I also receive the police clearance and medical certificates before applying for PR?

I am not sending my husband's transcripts as his bachelor's degree is from an unrecognized institute, so no point in wasting money.

Thanks,
Shilpa

Hi,
There is some information in the below thread.

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/list-of-all-the-documents-to-apply-t382735.0.html

The above link has the list of documents to be ready post ITA, whereas in my case I have not even started the PR process.

How much time does it take for the ITA to be received. Shall I initiate the process with the documents that I already have?

Once you have the IELTS ready you can create express entry profile and enter the pool. You can apply for PCC and medicals after receiving ITA (provided the issuing bodies for your location do not have backlogs). There are no guarantees on when you will be issued ITA, but you will find several threads in the forum to get an idea on your situation. Based on past trends, applicants with above 450 scores get ITA within a couple of months waiting time.
