Hi

My Mother was sponsored under Family class and she finally received the CoPR letter which asked her to submit the Passport with two photo at the VFS Bangalore and use the passport transmission services ALONG with the CoPR letter. This was done on 13th Feb 2017 at Bangalore

Received the passport back on 19th Feb, but there was no STAMP and the two photo graphs were returned. There was no other document/letter stating the status or what so ever.

Any idea on what could be the reason?

This sounds like a clerical or administrative error and I would suggest doing some immediate follow up, directly (and in person, if possible) with the office you submitted the passport to. Especially seeing as you did not receive any kind of explanatory document/letter back. Seems like a mistake was made at their end.
