congrats ROBBIE & KELLYS, for the 'In Process' status. hope u get the medical & PPR quickly & i also wish u get the med. & PPR at the same time if possible by the grace of Almighty


it is usually understood that after medical only background check is to be done. this means that everything else is checked & cleared by the IO & so he/she has sent the medical request. after the medical is ok, CHC waits for routine security check.

receiving med. request depends on how quick the documents & info. can be cleared & verified & also depends on IO. i saw somewhere in this forum, London CHC is taking 4-5 months to send med. request & sometimes 1-2 motnhs. u never know but average is 1 month

This maybe a daft question but when is it we get passed the London Office eligibility review? Are we clear of that once we get the medicals?

and are medical requests 2-3 weeks after in process?

Ok well I got my documents spot on they were ALL checked and verified my notary public so should speed them up a bit!!

So I guess wait for a medical letter or rejection letter!!

the only thing I have to maybe worry about is that the funds statements I sent in are now less than the minimum because of the exchange rates. I will probably inform them of the new balance(which is above now!) via email with my change of address

u can do that now or u can wait till medical to see if they r asking for the proof of fund again. coz, if they need to check the fund again, they will definitely ask it along with medicals.

personally, i can't see it as an issue for CHC as they should know about exchange rate that it always fluctuates.

u will receive it. i am not saying it just to give u 'some hope'. if they would reject ur application, they would do it by now. i think they r just verifying ur education institute or may be the VO is a bit busy. give it another 2 weeks. u will receive med. request by then, inshallah

one of my friend applied under old system and he was selected for fast track process.he sent an case specific enquiry and today he received a call from VO and he asked him to appear for interview(along with his wife and she is in back home country)and resubmit most of his documents+6 months bank statement.The VO just gave him just 4 weeks,now how he can cope it all?
i wish it will not happen to me and any one else.

that is so ridiculuous. how could London CHC be some inconsiderate. i really hope it doesn't happen to us.

but one thing is that once ur friend attend the interview, he will get the final decision within 4 weeks, i think & also if they have asked him to take the PP, then they will stamp the visa on the same day. is he still in Pakistan?

He applied from London and he is in London but his wife is in Pakistan.He is not been asked for medicals, RPRF or PPR nothing at all.
He is well worried, its too much for any of us and in just 4 weeks.How can he bring his wife here in 4 weeks time for interview?No way man,its ridiculous.i dont know whats gonna happen with his application.

You would think they would do them in order? Maybe it depends on the pile they land on? I got my AOR approx same time as you so I wouldnt worry too much
