Hi All,

I am starting this topic for those who received AOR but no medicals. Please share your timelines...

Application Received AOR Received Medical Received
19 March 2012 3 July 2012 ------

this topic will be interresting to follow for those that it has already been more than 120 days after they received the AOR. Thanks

I strongly believe in two following reasons:
1. You are from a country that they need to do a careful background check, like middle east countries.
2. There's an ambiguity in your file (most likely what you claimed you do is not compatible with the NOC), if it is the case, regular officers cannot review your file and it goes through a long queue until a manager or an experienced officer review it.

Well, did your ECAS status change? Mine was updated to "In Process" and no medicals yet....

No :-[
Mine is still "Application Received"

APPLIED/RECEIVED : 8TH MARCH 2012

That's frustrating. They specifically told me that if I didn't hear back in 120 days to email them for further information...and that's what they call 'further information'? That doesn't help anything.

I got my AOR on July 5th ..no medically yet...I fall into both category 1) my wife is from UAE 2) my NOC code is not properly mentioned in the work permit..are there any chances of rejection?

there will be chances of rejection if ur reference letter didn't mention all the details of what cic wants, e.g roles/responsibilites, even greater chance if u didn't provide any reference letter at all. also if ur work permit states different occupation other than the occupation u applied with, they might reject u. if u provided everything needed, u don't need to worry.. all the best.. :)

Well my company when applied for my WP did apply with different noc codes. But I applied with that noc which describes my job description which company gave me..are there still any chances of rejection
