Hi TRT 17,

Did you find a solution? Is there any update?

TRT 17,

I sent you a private message. Please reply...

Does ECAS change to "IN PROCESS" after Medical request? Just wondering because its been 2 months since my ECAS changed from application received to in process and I have yet to receive medicals. Can anyone please confirm this.

I am in the same situation, so I think we have to wait...

Do you have another application in process? Work Permit renewal? Visa renewal?

I am starting to lose hope :(

Don't loose hope, keep asking Immigration regarding your status

I applied in Feb2012, received AOR in June. Now no medical yet. ECAS: Application Received.

Emailed so many times to Immigration , they JUST say " Under review by an officer, will be processed within due times, no action needed "

what the HECK? its been almost over 10months, no medicals YET.

So dam frustrated here

I am also facing the same situation..no medicals even after almost 5 months from the time I got the AOR...

does work permit renewal have any thing to do with this delay...?

Me too, still waiting for medical.
I'm wondering what do we have in common?

Hi destinychild,

I applied for WP renewal and got the new work permit earlier this month. Could it be that the renewal of a WP affects the processing time of the PR application?

Dear ak1737,

How long it took to get new WP ?

My old WP got expired in Aug, applied new WP with new employer in AUG.

Received Positive LMO in Oct , applied WP and so far no response

my WP is pending , PR-CEC is pending.

Waiting sucks !!!!

don't lose hope. for some, the process is fast early on and for others, it's fast later on. my application was moving smoothly until now. applied in march. got AOR in may. medical request in september. did medicals first week of october. it was updated as medicals received 22nd of october. and now, it's stuck in the background check phase. given my name and country of origin, i could be waiting a year or more. there are applicants in May who are getting PPRs. it's really stressful, probably the most stress i have ever felt in my entire life. i think about it probably every minute. can't focus at work.

if you think about it, it's all very silly.

Hi cn_nikki,

I applied for the new WP in early september and I got it just last week. Which means almost 70 days of processing time.

Does that affect the processing of the PR application? if so, why?

Nope it wont effect the PR processing.

PR processing takes time in Criminality & Security check, this what I heard from Immigration that they contact Home Country for verification.

you're lucky mine took 100 days, and others took 120.
as cn_nikki said I heard same thing. I lived in the US for 5 years working as an Architect and now it will take much longer to process my case because of that they told me. Should've stayed home not made money or gained experience I might have been processed faster.
