Hi every one

We applied for PR Outland, our application was received September 26/09/2014. After a long silence my wife who's a canadian called the the call centre she was informed that they have received the application form, they re processing. 3/1/15 my wife received email with file number so we started to track it online through the ECAS system which stated file received. Yesterday I received an email asking for additional funds of $ 490 for RPRF.My wife has not received the opproval letter to sponsor me yet.
Does anyone know if this means the sponsor was approved and they are keeping my application at Mississauga for processing?. Can any one shed some light in my situation. Has any one been in this situation before.

Do you have a file number? Usually you wouldn't have one until you have SA.

When they ask for the last fee it usually means that your PR application has been approved and that you will get your COPR soon
Didn't they tell you if the sponsor was approved?

i would imagine if you are getting that email, that yes the sponsor has been approved. has your wife called the call center recently to see if she can get verbal confirmation? there are some people who report not receiving any sponsor letter, and the file is transferred/processed anyway. if you are getting this letter, this means they are processing your application and are possibly ready to approve it! whether this means it was kept in mississauga, i do not know. what i do know is those files kept in mississauga are processed quickly and it has been noted both applications are processed simultaneously. this can also be a reason why your wife hasn't received a sponsor letter.

basically, this is good news. generally, they wouldn't ask for RPRF if they weren't intending to approve the application. so get it in as quick as possible, and have your wife call CIC to confirm if she has indeed been approved without notification.

where are you from? if you are visa exempt, there is a high chance you will not receive a passport request. if you require a visa, the request could come after decision has been made, and the decision letter will instruct you how to submit your passport for the visa.

if you are visa exempt, paid the rprf, and don't get a passport request, you won't be getting any further emails. the "decision letter" (which is your copr) comes in the regular mail.

Hi all

How can I add myself on the Google spreedshit. I tried few times I was unable to do it.
