I'm in a huge dilemma at the moment. Against my expectations, I managed to receive student visas for both Australia and Canada. Australia was my primary target, until parents started pressuring me for Canada upon the approval.

Before proceeding, note that the discipline in question is Engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronics)

I don't have much time to make a decision, so your advice here is crucial.
Why would someone prefer to study in Australia over Canada; Melbourne vs Toronto specifically? From what I hear, Canada has as superior of an education as Australia, maybe even better...It also seems the graduate opportunities are more reliable. Cost of living is extremely convenient, and establishing a future life there seems welcoming. With that being said, why would someone still cater to Australia? We are assuming it's all about the education and life prospect here. I don't want to use nonfactors (to me at least) such as climate or sightseeing when a significant stake of money and credentials are on the line.

I feel like I am overlooking something, my heart leans towards Australia but the facts are yelling Canada out loud :-\
