I added that point because I have seen a lot of rejections based on this reason. Indian PCCs issued by the local police contains address in it. The problem comes in when you have stayed at many addresses in a country (mentioned in the address history) and the PCC just mentions the last one. This happened to Indian applicants at least (and some Pakistani applicants as well, if I recall correctly).

I have exactly the same thing, it has my last address and I had more addresses, however, in my country PCCs are issued by a central department and there is no option to get "local PCCs". I hope they know it too.

This is only specific to some areas in India and all of Pakistan mainly because the PCC has wordings along the lines of

"Person x has been residing at address Y since z and there is nothing outstanding against him".

This wording and the fact that there is no central system so you have to get multiple PCs from each address you have lived since 18 if you really wanna go by the book.

Most other countries do not use any such thing and their systems are centralized so they would simply say "Person x has nothign outstanding against him".

So people here are needlessly worried for something that doesnt apply to them.

Dear Friends,

According to forum topic I found that we are discussing and sharing a lot of other stuff with each other. Its not bad but we must also keep focusing on possible reasons of rejection before application as well as during the processing time. I start creating a list of reported reasons of rejections you can add more reasons in it or just send me new reasons in inbox to create a useful database.

1. Job not specified as full time and permanent employment
2. Failure to upload ECA (even though it does not ask for it on the upload page)
3. Passport scan missing or incomplete.
4. Missing Proof of Education.
5. Missing original PCC.
6. Incorrect NOC
7. Duties Mismatch
8. Submitting PCCs with specific addresses mentioned
9. Not providing "certified true" transcripts for Canadian degree/diploma
10. POF less than LICO

Dear all,

I have query regarding birth certificate.

Do I need to furnish birth certificate? As I am single applicant. And I am PNP-O applicant. Right now, I haven't provided birth certificate in LOE or in any other document. Can CIC or VO reject based on that?

Best regards.

No requirement unless they ask for it, which is very very rare.
