Once CIC starts processing your application, the processing fee is not refunded.

I am not sure this is entirely true.. when they canceled my application, they gave me a full refund.

perhaps, because it was only 10 days since my AOR, they issued full redund. who knows., what ever the reason, I am very happy for it

I am considering sending a CSE due to technical difficulties, but dont really want to anoy them any more than is necessary. I dont care about what it says in my application status, as long as they are working on it., But I am worried I might miss something they ask of me, some additional document or request, even if they are delivered via e-mail as well..

what do you guys think? should I send another pretty pleaseee :-* CSE ?

I am in a similar position. I received an e-mail saying "we will be re-opening your application". Yet, nothing happened. My app is still "closed" and I still don't have ECAS access. I was not refunded fees.
I don't know if sending another CSE makes sense. I've sent 4 of them. A 3 emails (different addresses). I received a reply (to my first CSE) almost exactly after 30 days.

Hi Everyone, need some help..

I will be submitting my application pretty soon with the SINP nomination. Have 2 questions for which I need some clarification:

1. I have got a POF letter from the bank which has the available balance & also average balance for the past 6 months mentioned.
Do I still need to attach bank statements?

2. Reference letter from my previous employer does not have the weekly working hours. It has the word "Permanent and full time" though along with the job responsibilities. Is this fine?

Please advise!

You dont need statements.

From what I know, you are suppouse to include work hours aswell

I absolutely agree with you. This thread is supposed to be a place where people who are rejected can come and share their experience, learn from the experience of others (that are rejected) and make sure that future applications are successful. It is not a thread where you find answers to your queries on how your application is progressing or how you should submit your application. If nothing, it only taunts others who have been rejected- and that in itself is pretty stressful. So please folk, let us make this thread into a safe place where people who are having problems with their application (due to rejection or after rejection) can share, learn and find comfort.

I suspect it starts much earlier than that.

The first step in EE is Medicals. If that fails, easiest to stop processing further. The parallel step though could be checking program eligibility. And the BG process starts right here because, for random applicants, CIC might call the employers, institutions etc to verify details where required.

PCC would be the final step of the process needed ONLY for eligible applicants to ascertain if they are a criminal risk to Canada.

Probably, an ECAS of 'Application Received' means that medicals are passed, file has been hosted on GCMS and eligibility checks are underway. 'In Process' would ideally indicate that eligibility checks are done and criminality checks are underway. Or so I guess.

you have three step
.inprocess right after you got aor..wait for app received..and 2nd time another in process..in process after app received has higher chances..

Earlier, it used to be In Progress > Application Received > In Process > Decision Made.

Now, for some weird reason, apparently the 1st stage is also In Process.

Hi All,

I need advice on my situation. I put my Coop work Experience as full time experience, which I just got to know is not accepted as Work Experience, although it was full time and under the Coop Work Permit. I submitted my application on 3rd Oct, until that day, my experience, post Graduation, was 10 months. Now Should I quit my application and wait for another 2 months to receive another ITA?

In November 2015, I will complete 12 months of work experience and on 1st Dec, I will complete 365 calendar days of work experience.

I will highly appreciate for your suggestions.

has anyone ever been rejected for not submitting the rcmp upfront?
I can't find on cic anywhere where it says that we do not need to provide pcc from Canada.
My consultant is saying that we have to.

and please spare me of the commetns like the consultant doesn't know.. I know... blah blah..

if anyone has the link on where it says on the official cic site where we have or don't have to provide the rcmp unless asked.
