Sorry to hear that! What is the reason provided? Dwell over it for a few hours to get to the depth of the problem and find a solution before sending out a CSE. Do not send out a CSE as a knee-jerk response.

This is terrible. CIC should've at least issued a clarification request instead of outright cancellation.

Check with the doctor if there is any major difference between the medicals for temporary residence vs PR medicals. Ask another panel physician the same question just to get a 2nd opinion.

I guess this is the doctor's mistake. OMG!! First check with your doctor and based on his answer, you could decide if you need to go for a CSE.

I got medicals done for my wife in Feb-2015 to support her open work permit request. I thought of using the same report for the PR too. But, when I checked with the panel physician they told me that I can't use the same form. So my wife got her medical tests done again.

When I have seen the type of tests included in both the reports they looked exactly same.

I called the doctor and he assures me he has done the medical needed for PR, on the report is says: "worker"., but when I asked him about it, he said this is fine and this is not a mistake.

he sent the medical report to me again, and I just did a cse, explained it, uploaded the form again and kindly on my hands and knees asked for another look and at least some clarification as the panel doctor is assuring me he did everything correctly .

to say that I am pissed is an understatement

502 Chest X-ray examination
707 HIV test
712 Syphilis Test (VDRL or RPR)

Does your report contains all these tests? And what was the status of your medical in MyCIC? Hope you find a way to get out of this problem.

I called the doctor and he assures me he has done the medical needed for PR, on the report is says: "worker"., but when I asked him about it, he said this is fine and this is not a mistake.

My report also said "Worker" - my doctor told me that is the correct category for Skilled Workers. Since I passed my medicals, I assume she was correct... so I assume there most be something else wrong in the report?

In any case, that's terrible! I really hope they look at your case again. :-(

Hi dear, Can we make this comparison? I doubt it. The medical check items vary depending on from which country or region you are applying from.

This means nobody here is safe, Even our myCIC profiles indicate "Medical: Passed"????

117 Gastroenterologist's report
501 Medical Examination
502 Chest X-ray Examination
707 HIV test Completed Institut for blod transfusion
708 Hepatitis B test Completed Institut for blod transfusion
712 Syphilis Test (VDRL or RPR) Completed Institut for blod transfusion
716 Hepatitis C test Completed Institut for blod transfusion
Consent provided

I don't know.

From what I know, I have done EVERYTHING humanly possible. If they don't reopen my application, I will not apply again as I can't go thru this again, financially or phisycaly. I had to take time off work to get everything done.

this is the best I can do., and from where I stand this is everything I will do at this time.

If it doesn't work, I will get to Canada diferently.. like many other people do.

so.. I am making a willing decision to not give any more of myself for this process.. If they refuse my application for a reason like this one, so be it.. unfair or unlucky., what ever..
