Does it say that your application is complete? Because I read on some thread that someone's 2nd AOR looked identical to their first.

So just make sure it says your application is complete or something on those lines. If it is, its definitely a positive sign and only thing you gain is you get a free pass to apply for BOWP.

Btw, what does your ECAS say?

I just received my second AOR.

Experts, what does this usually indicate? Any positive news at all?

I applied from outside Canada.

Progress. I cnt see my ECAS.? What is it in the first place and what does it mean if it has one line two or three line. I am sorry if i am asking a bad question. But any help would be appreciated.

Yes. I remember that there is at least one case that was rejected after ecas status changed to "in progress ".
And another case was rejected after the ecas status changed to " decision. Made". If I remember correctly both cases were rejected because of the issues with offer letter.

So it pretty much a shot in the dark to guess it based on ECAS eh !?

That is frustrating!!
I thought CIC would reject the application within the first few weeks if they find something is missing , so that at-least we can get back into the pool to re-apply.

My ecas still says Application Received.

This is what the 1st section of my second AOR says:

Thank you for your interest in Canada.
Your application for permanent residence in Canada was received electronically by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 05/26/2015. You applied to the Federal Skilled Worker Program-FSW.
CIC has reviewed your application and determined that it meets the requirements of a complete application as described in sections 10 and 12.01 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations.

https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do?app=ecas

ECAS : Electronic Client Application Status, CIC uses it to update the status of the application , Normally decision made comes up in this before it shows in Mycic(the site where you currently login check the status of you application ).

You can search for ECAS in this forum to get more info

That's great! Congrats! Looks like CIC has suddenly start issuing 2nd AOR this week.

I got my 1st AOR on May 4, no 2nd AOR yet, this is just CIC being inconsistent (I hope).

But it sure is good sign, happy for you :)

This is good , at-least you don't need to worry about application being rejected cos of missing documents !

Could you please share you timeline and ECAS status?

Thanks Asivad for answering my questions on the personal history section.

A question for you please in terms of travel section. How would you suggest dealing with a Vacation trip to Spain duration of 2 weeks where I have traveled multiple cities in the same day. Should I just put the main city I flew into or do I need to have an entry for each city?

I also notice that in a single travel entry we can put difference cities using a slash. For example City 1/City 2/City 3.

What would be your recommendation on this?

Thank you again for all your help.

I would recommend keeping things simple at the country level without getting into details beyond that.

You need to have access to your MyCIC account. If a letter was sent to you, it will still be in there. Although it is certainly possible that this is an EE bug, I think you also have to rule out solicitor error.

Get the password to your own MyCIC account, and check it religiously!

If you use a solicitor, he\she won't give you the password.

Only last night I received an email to say I was rejected on the grounds I did not submit my passport within seven days of notification. This is a joke because 1) We received no email notification and 2) We had actually submitted the scanned passport..

I am getting told by my solicitor this is happening to a lot of people and its believed to be EE auto system bug.

Sorry to hear about your rejection. What did you finally do, also what is your timeline?

In fact, you seem to be indicating that you have already submitted 2 letters and 1 of them says Permanent and Full time. You need to get the revised letter to include non-seasonal as well. I'm not sure if it is mandatory because no member has reported a rejection on that basis. But it can't hurt to send in a CSE along with a letter which has exactly what CIC wants.

All the best!

Thanks again Asivad., You are highly appreciated. I will try my best to hold my employer.

Leave out the transcripts - CIC doesn't asks for those anyways. CIC also doesn't ask for IELTS in the checklist - they verify it using your TRF reference - you can leave that out as well.

Just upload ECA, copy of degree certificates and translated notarized certificates.

hi , will translated certificate issued by college be accepted by CIC?

thanks~

I would never use one then. No one cares as much about seeing your application through as you do!

Why are you attacking me? I am simply saying that lawyers manage not just one application, so chances are that they would have one password for all applications. No one is forcing you to use one. There are Pros and Cons for using a lawyer.
