Thanks for your reply. Much appreciated. By he way, is everyone requested to submit a schedule A, or does it depend on your case? To explain a bit more about my application, I am a FSW/ Outland applicant with AOR received on 16th of June.
Every one who has either a gap in history (some times, it is considered a gap if you provided last 10 years, but its more than 10 years since you turn 18) OR who answers yes to one of statuary questions. Have you been denied visa / entry etc..

No I never got a visa rejection or anything... So hopefully I shouldn't get a request :) Thanks!

They have not mentioned about student visa rejection. IS it necessary to say YES if student visa to USA was rejected. And they never give reasons for that. They only say work permit and immigrant visa.

I got rejected after 9 months of AOR.
Hi,
I have been reading your rejection reasons since I am also sailing in the same boat. Just to brief, I am the principal applicant waiting for OINP AOR as of now. My husband has a son from his previous marriage however the custody is with his ex-wife. Also he was not supposed to pay for his son ever as per the agreed terms. Now we have not mentioned his son as dependent on our application/EE profile. From your experience do you think we will have to face an issue ever?

My consultant advised as the son is not dependant we do not need to mention in the EE profile. However reading about your case I am a bit worried. His son is under 18 but financially not dependant on him.

Not really. You mention trips in travel history, period. Any country you have ever been is tracked there.

You never mention that in personal history / background / Sch A.

It would be lame especially for some one experienced / frequent traveler who say has worked at one job for a few years and traveled many countries there. He won't go on to list EVERY trip in his personal history in Schedule A.

Lastly, transits don't count as travel history.

In fact travels of less than six months - might only be relevant if they are recent (last 5 years or so). Otherwise they are only important if a Police certificate is required for those cases. Generally it is a good idea to get PCs for trips of 3-4 months. But any trips shorter than that, and very long time ago - might not even be needed.

Even if they are needed, putting them in travel history with dates is more than enough.
Yes, trips are included in travel history only and not in personl history.......in schedule A we dont even have travel history coloumn if i remember.

Hi flk,
thanks for detailed reply, so as per my initial query, CID requires me to re submit Scihedule A Background/Declaration form again, so in this, i will not include short trips in personal activities and address history of this form? pls advise.

secondly, in this form the format of date is YYYY-MM (i.e there is no DD), in this case what if Activity-1 is ending at 31st Jan and Activity B is starting at 1st Feb,

would they consider it 1 month gap?

Schedule A: A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature. There can be no gaps in your personal history (Question #8) or your address history (Question #12). Each month must be accounted for and listed for the time period specified.

can you explain bold text?

Hello everyone,

Please how can I re-open my application?

My E-APR was was refused today for one singular reason: ECA not attached

But I did because I noticed a computer glitch.

If the Visa Officer VO said I indicated attended a university in my PR application then the required documents checklist that will be generated will include the link to upload ECA and other credential.

Before I submitted the checklist had a link where I uploaded my ECA and other credential. I uploaded and move to the Next page where I made payment.

Today, as soon as I got the refusal message and cross checked ''submitted application'' in MyCIC and noticed only the education link was missing.

How come VO can see education information on my application but submitted application checklist in MyCIC does have education listed anymore?

I want to CIC to review my application and check my claim.

Please house I need help and advise on what to do next.

If you had any kind of refusal, including student visa (since that is also a temporary resident visa) or a prior PR application refusal, you should answer yes to above question.

They didn't exactly specify the type. The question says have you ever been refused entry / visa / provincial nomination etc. .. Basically ANY refusal (there are two questions which cover this area combined). A student visa refusal is certainly part of it. Though it doesn't matter at all if there were no formal reasons for refusal. Temporary residence (study, work, visit) is refused all the time for not strong enough social ties and is of little importance in a PR application.

However, if some one has had a refusal (including study visa refusal) and they don't say yes, this would be treated misrepresentation and i have seen people banned for such mistakes.
