As per Feb 11th update on CIC website , Individuals who stayed a total of 6 months in other countries need to submit PCCs from respective countries. Earlier this requirement was for 6 months in a row.

5 months 20 days is very close to 6 months and CIC in past has asked applicants to provide PCC in such cases. It depends on your Visa Officer.
Also, short vacations are also calculated towards 6 month duration.

I stayed in UK 3 times. Each time the duration of visa was not more than 6 months. But total stay of 3 trips is around 10 months (3+5+2). Do I need PCC from UK in this case?

Going by the new PCC guidelines of CIC, if one stays in a country for total number of days that equals or exceeds 6 months (irrespective of nos. of trips) then PCC is needed.

Especially with the 5 months of stay (very close to the 6 months limit) it would be advisable (and hardly costs) to have the PCC proactively available than regret the delay/rejection later.

Since you have already filed your e-APR, now you don't need to do anything except wait.

What do you mean "my PNP nomination will expire on 24 April while my 6 months for Express entry end on 2 June."???

Now there is no question of expiry of any of the above...

Actually on the PNP nomination paper expiry date is mentioned.

The six months for express entry time line for decision as mentioned in their guide.

Is the passport issue date mentioned on your PCC? If yes, then there's a good chance that CIC will reject it. Please check other threads where people have mentioned that they have been rejected for having regional police station PCC that were bound by time and location. Even better, ask Asivad Anac

Some countries do mention passport issue date on PCC. It has nothing to do with rejection. The only possibility (of rejection) is when PCC specifies "having lived at address x since y" and it does not cover full period since the age of 18 OR the address history one filled does not tele.

PSK PCCs are fine. there should be no issue with that..

Please do not unnecessarily scare people here by spreading wrong information when you yourself are not completely updated on the issue.

PCC will never be rejected because of passport issue date being written on it. PP issue date is written to be most specific about quoting the PP No. with issue date so that there remains no ambiguity as to which PP is being referred to here. That's it.

PCC will never be rejected because of passport issue date being written on it. PP issue date is written to be most specific about quoting the PP no. with issue date so that there is no ambiguity to which PP is being referred here. Thats it.

You are right, I was also wondering how could an application ever be rejected due to the "Passport Issue date" written on PCC.

IMO, It's not an issue. Even i have submitted PSK PCC only. All PSK PCC will have similar wordings.

I don't understand why does it even matter. Not every one will have their PP issued exactly on or before their 18th birthday, and assuming (0.001%) of those who exactly have, for many the PP would have expired (at least once) and then they would have got it renewed with a new issue date much much later than their 18th birthday.

Does that mean CIC will keep rejecting all these PSK issued PCCs...you all must be joking!

I am not sure, what is the issue here?

So this proves that they will not reject an application based on the passport issue date mentioned on the PCC. I had started getting worried as mine was July, 2014.
