That's right Creampop. Nothing is sure. What constitutes a game is so hard to even assume.

Anything can go against anyone or just one simple thing which is so hard to find seems favorable.

The key is to find that "simple" thing. I do hope I am successful in my research and put forward my application in such a way that I won't be refused. Once I am on ground in Canada, I will deal with other stuff that follows there. I gotta overcome the first hurdle.

Btw, I'm also trying to find myself a job there. God! its so tough to find one with an employer who is willing to go through LMO process!

Hey,

I'm in the exact situation as you were 2 years ago, and I hope that you managed to get into Canada, coz now I have the same questions you had back then.

I'm in a relationship with my boyfriend for 1 year and a half almost. Currently i'm in Canada visiting him for the last 4 months. I'm from a visa exempt country so I can stay for 6 moths. We want to extend my visitor visa now so we can eventually apply for common-law sponsorship.

1. Do you know for how long you should request for an extension? 6 months, 8, a year? I can't find any info on CIC website.
2.Also when filling up the only application it asks me if I have a family member in Canada. Can my boyfriend be considered as my committed partner for at least one year (who have never lived together)? We traveled a lot, everyone know us a couple, i met his parents & friends, he met mine, we lived together the last 4 months together... Or is it better to just mentioned I don't have a family member I want to extend my visa for tourism and there mentioned that I want to stay with my boyfriend/partner for longer so we could eventually apply for common law?

3.If do fill that I have a family member do we need to provide evidence that we are a couple??

Thank you all for your time :) and hope to hear from someone soon :)
