Guys pls have a look at my situation and pls comment. My problem is time, we are a family torn apart living in different countries we are all very depressed because of this delay in our application (filled in buffalo).

We applied in june 08 and our NOC is on the List - 0111. Medicals where done and received by the consulate five months ago. After medicals they requested state ppcs, after we submitted those they came back requesting new updated fbi ppcs (why did they not request this all together?).... we sent those and they received the last piece of requested doc more than a month ago. Just got CAIPS and it looks like everything is done, apart from their security checks. CAIPS shows: INTW WAIVED, MEDS done, RPRF paid, Funds updated, all pccs received. It has been more than a month since they received the new FBI certificate and we have not heard anything from them, so what's going on?

When we got interview waived and medical request back in june we thought we would be landing by September... but here we are in November now and still not finished. We are on NOC 0111, shouldn't us be on the new faster system? When do you predict they will request our passports? Pls comment because we dont know what to do. Thanks for helping.

According to data from trackitt , October and November 2008 files are seeing movement.

You may receive your passport request any moment now, my brother in law received his request with only 3 months before the medicals expire.

I can totally understand your frustration. I am in the same situation. I am too separated from my wife and kids as we live in different countries. We Applied in AUG 08 to Buffalo (now transferred to Detroit), got medicals done in June 2009, and RPRF and police certificates were submitted in July 2009. We have been waiting ever since. Looking at Trackitt, some people around the same timeline were receiving PPR within 3-4 weeks after meds. We were hoping to be in Canada by now. And today nothing, not a sign of life from the Consulate, they don't even bother answer our emails. We've decided to order our CAIPS notes to see what's going on.

Which country are you from?
Are you the main applicant?
Which country is your significant other from?

I hope that we hear something soon.

Good Luck!

The month of November is well know to depress people anyway.:)
I can only advise you not to fall into depression, if you are already in it. Get out of it.:)
Just relax, wait , be patient and hope for the best.:)
