Hello.

I have just realized I unintentionally answered a question on my PGWP (already approved) incorrectly. Its a significant enough mistake that can reflect as if I was withholding information from immigration. I realized this as I was filling out a renewal for my travel visa. I'd like to be upfront about this and let them know about the mistake without suffering huge consequences. Any thoughts on how to broach the subject with CIC?

In case anyone else is in a particular situation, I did ask around and received some advice. Because more often than not such an error could reflect as fraud or intentionally withholding information from CIC, it is best to seek legal advice. The important thing is how you approach the problem and present it to the CIC. This is the advice I received and it seems logical to me. Let me know if anyone else has any thoughts on the matter.

Re: Realized I made a mistake on my PNP Application

My application is in CIC pool and as I received invitation from Ontario under Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). Upon my review of the profile I noticed that I committed couple of mistakes in my application that we submitted in CIC pool under FSWP.

1. My degree completion of Masters was written as June 14, 2013 whereas it is September 09, 2013.
2. Under my travel history it does not mention my travel under my employment visa from my current employer in United Arab Emirates. However, same is appearing under my employment history.

Although none of this information is misleading or comes under the category of concealing but can anyone please advise on what can be done to fix these mistakes or what can be potential consequences of mistakes as such.

Regards,
Adeel
