mukund, nice one... !

Guys just to give you an quick update on job market

I am living with a new immigrant who landed from india on 3rd May and is member of forum and he had 2 interviews already since landing and one of them looks to be going in right direction

There is another one, again member of the forum, who has an interview today.

There is another one, who has an interview this week and this lady is not on the forum

I myself am getting few interview calls, hope fully by early next week will have more detais

So my gut feeling is if you are preparaed and have skills it may not be that tough to find job. These are early days for me and I may change opinion if I have to go through some rejections but as of now I will say to all people worried about jobs here that it does not look bad at all. You need to give your self some time though like 2-3 months.

Hi Anu

You look very worried and rightly so. I was very worried myself before landing, I still am, but much more relaxed than I was in India. You need to look for job market yourself and would know the answers.Go to indeed.ca, workopolis, monster.ca and search jobs and apply

Take a Canadian phone number, mydivert.com.. Make a Canadian style resume just two pages, Put a Canadian telephone no. on your resume and see if you get calls. If possible put a Candain address on resume. You can get a Candian number from mydivert.com

Do your research, thats what will give you most accurate situation. Prepare for interview well. GO to youtube and search for interview tips

Hope that helps

Thanks Ankit
for your Input
I just want 2 know all details and your answer is so important for all of us.
good luck yaar .

Hi Forum Members,

Initial Application to CIO : 7 May 2010
NOC : 0213
Visa Office : New Delhi
1st AOR Received from CIO through email : 05 Oct 2010
Full Documents sent to New Delhi Visa Office : 27 Jan 2011
2nd AOR Received through ordinary mail : 15 Feb 2011 (dated 9th Feb)
from New Delhi Visa Office

E-Cas Status :

Permanent Residence Application Status

Centralized Intake Office Sydney (CIO-S) Eligibility Review Complete (When Clicking this it shows the below lines)

Permanent Residence
We received your application for permanent residence on May 7, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on October 5, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the Sydney, Nova Scotia - C-50 office. They are pending review.

I wonder how come they issued second AOR to me from New Delhi Visa Office as my status shows that it is still with the CIO, Sydney, Nova Scotia C-50 Office

My Question here is : It should show that the documents are pending review with New Delhi Visa Office but it is showing as Sydney, Nova Scotia C-50 Office.

Iam really confused with this please anyone give u'r ideas.

I need u'r suggestions about what does this E-Cas Status conveys to me.

Raj.

No bro., nothing new at application progress, just "In Process" (with same RBVO details) since 1st March. :(

Well, I've put immigration as 2nd priority in my list of life's strategic goals, so not very upset because of delay. And yes I'm managing so many hats at same time because I love learning & to find friends like YOu, generous-wise-practical-sincere-hardworking-& full of knowledge :)

Thanks for your all support & kindness. At this stage, I just want to keep learning from u & so like to request you to please keep in touch for sake of all of us on the forum.

Further, In spite I know that you have great managerial skills to settle in Canada easily, if you still need any help on ground, plz let me know as my brother-in-law (who is Canadian-born & well settled) can be of some help to you.

Best regards,

Salman.

Congrats Ankit on your successful landing. All the best for your Job search!!

Ankit

We got the same NOC and your posts are important for all IT guys here in this forum.
Do you see any difference in job searching and other stuffs than what you saw in the US?
