The landlords are sometimes ok without the credit score if you behave really well and explain to them you are new to the country and won't damage their property. If you have a recommendation letter from the employer or relatives that will help, too. Also, I would suggest taking a picture of a neatly set up room or your current house and showing the picture to the landlord proving you are trustworthy.
