Hi everyone!!!!

I am looking for job in internal audit department in Toronto region therefore I need any good reference from you guys.

As I have 6 years of experience as an internal auditor in banking sector as well as I have CPA, CGA membership.

Thanks.

Hi, to get a middle level to senior postion in internal audit, you will need to get your CPA charter, http://www.cpaontario.ca/Students/CPAcertification/1082page17138.aspx Ordinary member is not good enough.

The alternative wil be to take entry lvel jobs and contract positions. I recommend you contact the popular recruting agents like Hays Recruiting (http://www.hays.ca/), Robert Half (https://www.roberthalf.ca/?_ga=1.89098267.1602791555.1479788396), Lannick (http://www.lannickgroup.com/), IFG (http://www.ifg-global.com/) and Randstad (https://www.randstad.ca/) to name a few.

You might also consider joining a bridging program. A very good one is Acces Employment (http://www.accesemployment.ca/) and another is COSTI (http://www.costi.org/).

You should also actively connect on LinkedIN with people from your home country who are working in Canada and then expand your network by asking them to introduce you to other people who can hep you learn what the industry trends and recruitment opportunities are.

I need everyone's candid opinion. I applied under FSW 2014 in Dec 2014 and yet to get MR from Accra Visa Office. Because the waiting is becoming unbearable, can I apply to province on a different NOC from that of the FSW2014 I applied for?
I will be using a different job title but same role.

Looking forward to your response.

Sorry.. it gave error while trying to reply ur message. i also used another NOC. but bear in mind that it must not be contrary to what u stated in FSW. If u stated that within 2011 to 2013,, ur NOC was 2222, you must not come and say otherwise for those period. your request will still get to CIC and off-course we all have our UCI number to track our previous information.

For my opinion, i feel its better to try EE while still waiting for FSW. You will be asked to cancel one if they get to know.

Thank you.

Its a very broad & open ended question dear.
