Count down to our landing in Calgary :-)
It's been 3 years waiting for this day.. To God be the glory..
I will definitely detail our experience here.

Cheers and good luck to all.

Guys! I got the COPR stamped in the passports at London! :D I will detail the process so that it helps someone in my situation.

I sent the passports with a friend along with an authorization letter, in case he was checked. He was not and there were no issues. He couriered the package locally to the VFS office in London. I sent VFS an email including a cover letter and authorization letter to have it couriered back to another friend after processing it at the High Commission. The fees for VFS were paid locally too. VFS sent the passports to the High Commission on the same day and they processed it within 2-3 days and sent it back to VFS, who then couriered to my friend in London. The whole process went smoothly without any issues.

Good luck!

Dear experts, does anyone know how long they take to finish review on issues mentioned as "SECTION 16(1)(C)" in gcms. anyone face the same issue?

I learnt review takes 4-6months to complete. But i can see u have waited for long and i too have been waiting since August 2015.
This wait is killing and my Vo refused to reply my CSE.More patient my friend is needed.

Good day everyone. I am a December 2014 FSW applicant. My medical results were received by CEM and i was just waiting for passport request when CEM called me to verify my email address and contact details twice. The second call bothered me so much because a lot of questions were asked regarding my consultancy agency and authorized representative. I was out with my grandmother and I wasn't able to give the caller the complete name of the authorized rep. They emailed me and gave me the chance to explain, but they were not satisfied with the response. My application was refused because of that but the agency and the authorized rep in Canada filed an appeal which will take approximately 6 months. I don't know what will happen next, so I'm just lifting this to GOD. I wish you all the best and may your plan for your life be the same as GOD's.

Attention: Anyone who has an enquiry on mailing PR Card outside Canada

PR cards for my family were issued (appx 86 days from landing) & sent in normal course to a friend's address in Toronto and he sent me the same to Dubai by FedEx priority courier. The pack reached Dubai in 4 days. I used Dubai residential address, the delivery man called me in my mobile and handed over the pack at home.

My point is it's always better to get it through someone you know personally or carries himself. But even a FedEx courier can also do the job!

Cheers!!!

I really appreciated for the detailed answer. Actually! I am at a stage where I have to take the step to get PR but due to some reasons it would not be possible to stay for the longer time while waiting for the PR card to be issued. So, I want any live example in which there hasn't any issue, in leaving Canada without getting PR. So, please share if anyone cameacross with such situation.

B positive my last post is for you and anyone about mailing PR.

I personally had same situation, couldn't stay more than 3 days in Canada, fall back to my work country. There was no requirement of PR while leaving Canada, you only need while entering 2nd time by any commercial transportation like air, bus. However, after you exit from Canada without PR, using COPR you can re-enter in personal vehicle from US, it's allowed.

Now a days for Toronto, waiting time for PR is quite long, appx 70-80 days.

Best of luck buddy and B positive ;D

Hi Everyone,

I had received my COPR some time back and will be flying to Canada soon. Can you please let me know is there any "minimum" amount of money that I need to carry with me and in what currency. I checked in CIC website and it is mentioned like if you can carry more than CAD $10000 then you need to disclose, but what is the minimum limit.

Regards,
Swapan

Hi,

These are the funds which I needed to show in INR in my bank while applying for PR. After getting the PR, while landing in Canada are you required to carry this much amount of money?

Hi,

it's not required to carry this much money, however, you need to demonstrate to the border officer that you still meet the required proof of funds at the time of landing. If you are not moving for good yet, have a recently issued bank statement or whatever document you used in the first place

I am in the same boat. Already received Medical and "Medical Results Received" line appeared in ECAS. But after that complete silence.
Even there is no response to CSE by LVO.
In your ECAS you see the message "Medical Results Received on 09 Jan 16". OR it is simply "Medical Results Received". Because in my case it is simply written "Medical Results Received"

Did you raise any CSE? OR was there any correspondence between you and your visa office after 9th Jan 2016?

Anyone have the explanation about this scenario please provide your feedback?
