I received medical request on 5 Jan16 and I did it 6 Jan. My ecase update shown medical received on 09 Jan 16. Still I didn't get background check and Rprf. Uselly people got with MR but I didn't. Is this any reason??

Just a update new rule passed in budget yesterday... Citizenship time has changed... its now 3 out of 5years instead of 4 out of 6 years. ..

Now we can keep dual citizenship aswell... no need to leave our country citizenship to get Canadian citizenship

I have been travelled to canada with less than 6 month validity of passport.
My passport expires in July,16 & i booked ticket from Turkish Airlines for dates 18th April - 1st May.
Can anybody please guide me whether i can travel with same passport without any issue.
I checked with Airline they are ok to board me with same passport.
What about Immigration dept. they will allow or not.

Same story with me. I also did not get any RPRF and Schedule-A update or PCC request. I already did medicals and ECAS got updated with "Medical Results Received". But after that complete silence.

Did your VO requested anything else from you during this time? Was there any correspondence like did you raise CSE to VO and what was the response?

Seniors in the house, I paid my RPRF since September and submitted other documents requested alongside the receipt (through my lawyer). Up till this moment, I am yet to have my receipt linked to my ECAS. Three weeks ago, I sent a scanned copy of the receipt to the visa office and was informed that my file is on the queue for review. Is there any need to worry about this?

In my GCMS report, I saw a note entered by VO. But the text field is blank. What do you think why its blank? Is it the VO forgot to enter note details, or it was not disclosed to me??

Hi! If the text is blank then there will be a section 16(1)c on the top left corner of that page suggesting that some details of the visa officer's concerns are hidden from you. What's your status? Be alert verifications are taking place for applicants who are awaiting MR.

Dear Forum Members,

Need your expert advice regarding the below situation of my brother who applied for FSW in July 2014 from Dubai, UAE. Below is a snapshot of where his application has reached:

File received at CIC - 14th Aug 2014
Credit card swiped for processing fees - 17th Nov 2014
PER received on - 5th Dec 2014 with application number
Medical forms received by CIC - 9th July 2015
Email received to submit new passport for visa issuing - 5th Aug 2015

When my brother checks his status on CIC it states Decision Made. However, ever since the last email requesting for a new passport (as his old was about to expire), there has been no communication received from CIC. Basically, he hasn't been notified as to where he has to send his passport and hence is in limbo. His visa office is London.

He has emailed them several times but has received no answer.

Is there anyone else who is in the same boat as him? What do you think could be the reason for such a long delay?

Please if anyone can help answer this query, it would be great. And, if anyone has any phone number where we can contact CIC, please let me know.

it was before i must leave my country citizenship to get the Canadian citizen ???
