Hi all, My immigrant visa expires on april 2016. I am pregnant now my delivery on may 2016 so my Dr asked me to travel after may. will my visa will expire or can i request cic to extend my visa pls advice.

If you are serious for settling abroad and if possible, you should land there ASAP. Baby will become citizen by born and it will reduced your hassles..

Need some help regarding the PR process...

My IELTS scores are
W - 6.5
L - 8.5
R - 7
S - 7.5

I am working as a senior software engineer at IBM and total work exp is 8+ years.

I have done BCS and MCS from Pune university.

Completed my WES and got the result.

Now what you suggest is the best way to get a PR. Should i wait in the pool or do something else. as my CRS points are 370 and right now the CRS points required is at 484.

I am very much confused with wht should i do next, Please help..

i did my medicals on 6th november.....on friday
but still they did not update my status on ecas,,,,
as hospital told us that it takes 5 days to reach your medicals.....
i want to confirm that five workin days or ?????
plz suggest me...
is it normal????


Boss, I did my medical on 9th Oct and MR received line updated after a month, that is on 13th Nov. Be positive and wait a bit..

I just received medical request,RPRF request and updated proof of funds from visa office after waiting for 10 months.

1. You can email your Visa Office for extension stating the reason, they might consider your appeal.
2. Just get your tickets done, Land in Canada and give birth to your child over there. Safe and sound, your child will be Canadian citizen by birth.

You have to take decision fast before it gets late for you to travel

If you have no complications you can travel in second trimester of pregnancy
It's the safest time to travel
You can request a comfortable seat for you from the airline and they respect it

Dear Forum Members,

I do not have online application status access as it was removed by my Ex-Wife after divorce. I have updated LVO with recent documents with divorce certificate and other changes for re-evaluation on my case via email. Its been two weeks since i sent email to LVO, but there is no response yet from my VISA Officer.

Please guide what should i do ?

Do i need to send another email for asking about progress on my case or should wait for a bit for the reply from LVO. I also sent them the representative form along new updates for further communication of my case with our family friends staying in CANADA.

There are no due dates and it is 50 pages. The person updating is Sadmin. Did anyone have the same officer as me?

Sadmin is not an officer. But it is abbreviation for Sys-Admin means System Admin, who is administrating the Software System of GCMS notes system.

Dear Forum Members,

I got visa in June 2015. I am planning to move to Canada for 2 weeks in mid February and will come back to India. I will move to Canada permanently later.
Please suggest what are the necessary steps to be taken to plan for movement to Canada on temporary basis.

- Do I need to update any CIC or update any link of CIC?
- Do I need to open any bank account?
- I will be staying with one of my friend there for 2 weeks. And planning to give his address for PR card. Is t ok?

Please suggest me, so that I can start my movement process.

should i apply for Quebec which is open as of now, what would you suggest ? Also this time they have not kept French language as mandatory. so i am looking for quebec.
