Hi all!

Finally, after almost a year, I've got the golden PPR email 8) 8) 8) thank you all for your help!

Just one doubt before sending my family passports. I am living in Canada on a Student Permit and my wife, on a Work Permit. Should we send the actual permits (papers given when we landed) with the passports?

I am inclined not to, but I'd like to know if someone knows that for sure.

Thank you!

Congrats

Received Passport with Visa & COPR

Journey Ends here :)

Good Luck to everyone !!!

No you can't travel 2nd time on the same visa. You can get travel visa from Canadian embassy anywhere in the world easily. Otherwise, as I mentioned, PR card can be sent to you via post after it arrives.

Thanks for the response.

After a short visit (1 or 2 weeks) to Canada for settling formalities like SINP, PR Card health Insurance application, I would like to come back to my present country. Later I will shift finally may be start/middle of 2017 in Canada. I was wondering how it is possible !

Apparently, if I can get the PR card in hand, staying in my present country seems I can re-enter showing that card in Canada in 2017.

I will tell my relative (whose address authority will send my PR card) in Canada to Send the PR card to me in my present country.

Correct me if any of my process perception is wrong !

Tia :)

Dear Altruists n friends,
Got a tricky issue regarding my NAME spelling.

Let's say my first name is "Ahhmed" (with double H). My NID and Passport has same spelling as well. I filled up my FSW application with "Ahhmed" (with double H) as name and filled up my name "Ahmed" (with Single H) in the section of alias as in some of my professional documents given by employers used that "Ahmed" spelling for unintentional ignorance.

Interestingly, my ECAS is showing "Ahmed" (with Single H) and every correspondence till MR and PPR email they are using "Ahmed" (with Single H) as well.

My concern is that
1. What can be the trouble if they issue the VISA by "Ahmed" (with Single H) like entering in Canada?
2. What can be the potential hassle I may face for the single and double H/alias issue in case of SINP, PR Card, Health Card etc?
3. Do they use passport doc as reference documents to issue SINP, PR Card, Health Card etc of application data?

Since, this "unintentional ignorance" matter happens a lot in my case of name spelling, I am planning to be extra cautious in my action.

I am planning to raise a CSE just before sending passport to CVAC for their attention in this matter. However, I would like to welcome opinions/feedbacks/suggestions and especially EXPERIENCE of such cases from the forum member.

Thank in advance folks :)

your visa office?????

Will it affect our applications as Canada govt has announced to accommodate Syrian refugees on priority basis..

In response to my CSE, I have just received following response from LVO:

"Thank you for your email.

You file is currently undergoing routine background checks. We do not currently have a time frame for when these checks will be completed.

No further action is required from you at this time.

Kind Regards,

DRD

Program Assistant | Assistante de programme"

Experts, what are your views? When should I expect MR? Thanks

Further please note in CSE, I also informed that my PCC are ready for dispatch. However, they have mentioned that no action is required from my side. So, I will not be sending them PCC now.

Regards

Finally got my passport back with maple stamp on it. Feeling so happy. ;D ;D :D :D
