Got my Passport with Stamped Visa and COPR today. Visa office NDVO
Time line as follows:

App submitted: 25 june 2014
PER: 9 October 2014
Second line: 21 oct 2014
Medical request: 9th oct 2015
Meds done: 17th oct 2015
Med received: 26th oct 2015
PCC RPF receipt and emedicals receipt received: 29th oct 2015.
Passport request: 9th oct 2015
Passport submission: 9th oct 2015
Passport and COPR received: 13th oct 2015

Finally got my passport back with maple stamp on it. Feeling so happy. ;D ;D
Planning to land by mid December this year.

Staple your permits to the passport and send them for visa stamping. That's supposed to be next to your visitor visa you used to enter Canada.

My daughter's and wife's permit were stapled, but mine was not because the officer thought it was going to get too bulky. Anyway, just sent it all to our friends in Ottawa. Let's hope they are in a speedy mood next week

Hey guys, I have a question; I have 87 days before my medical results expire, I heard that VOs won't issue the PPR unless more than 3 months remained for landing and that they put the file on hold until the medical expires, ask to take the medical tests again and then issue the PPR. Is that right? should I wait at least 3 months more for the PPR? or is this just a rumor?

that is a rumour.. My medicals are going to expire on 7th dec 2105
Pn nov 3rd 2015 i got a call from ndvo that my application has been almost finalised. She asked me if i can travel before 7th dec, if not she will send me medical request again. I told her i can travel before 7th dec. same day i got my ppr. Got my passport stamped in 2 days and i will be travelling on 2nd dec 2015

its worrying period again as other people whose DM on 23 oct 2015 got ppr request on 5th nov but they missed me .. but why

you dont have to worry much. NDVO is quick so you might get PPR this month.
