Check what the document you received along with CoPR says.
Probably no one will ask for PoF but what will you do if you are asked and you do not have it? Its not worth the risk. Bank statements suffice as PoF and they should be easy to get even if you are not in your home country.

I have a query. Appreciate your advise.

I have a job offer from a Canadian company. Need to report by next month. However, Im not in my home country and probably will have to land directly in Canada from here.

Do i need to show proof of funds at port of entry or the job offer will suffice the officer.


Seniors please advise.

You will need UK visitor visa before you arrive in UK.

Guys, I have a question - I live in Dubai with my family but my son studies in Pakistan. If PPR is requested, should i ask him to send his passport to me in Dubai and I take all family passports to Abu Dhabi or should he send his passport directly to Islamabad?

Hi All ,

I am one of the "Medical request -lost email" candidate. My application was rejected on Sep 30th stating documents were not submitted for the medical request email sent by CIC(email never received by attorney).
My attorney had applied for reconsideration under lost email case ,2 weeks back.

Today in ECAS, all of a sudden an additional "Medical request received" line was added . Although we have not submitted medicals . Do you guys think this is a good sign ? . Below is my status in ECAS.

We received your application for permanent residence on July 30, 2014.
We started processing your application on November 18, 2014.
We transferred your application to the New Delhi office on November 25, 2014. The New Delhi office may contact you.
We sent you correspondence on February 19, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
We sent you medical instructions on February 19, 2015. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Medical results have been received.
We sent you correspondence on September 30, 2015 about the decision on your application.

Everyone who is just keeping quite and not following up their Applications with their respective Visa Officers via "CSE or GCMS notes", please read the ordeal of the this poor chap who got his APPLICATION REJECTED merely because the Visa Office thought they have sent MR but in reality they have forgotten and considered that they have sent it. These types of software or communication or data entry errors are common even in most modern ERP systems like SAP. Therefore I shall again re-emphasize that follow your application through CSE/GCMS notes and do not let it at the mercy of your Visa Offices.

LESSON LEARNED: [size=15pt]THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT IN RAISING OCCASIONALLY CSE IS THAT IT DOESN'T COST AND IT DOESN'T HARM BUT THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF GETTING BENEFIT IF LVO HAS FORGOTTEN TO SEND YOU SOME DOCUMENT REQUEST OR INSTRUCTIONS FOR NEXT STEPS OR AS PER THEIR RECORD THEY HAVE SENT YOU INSTRUCTIONS BUT YOU DIDN'T GET IT THEN THEY MIGHT SEND YOU AGAIN UPON SEEING YOUR CSE.

just wait till you get your MR, thephysician will advice best and the results of your spouse will show she is pregnant. If the pregnancy is in the early stage no need for worry as she will probably delivered in Canada but if it as reach advance stage you will notify your VO once she put to bed
