Hi,

In NDVO how much time it take from moving to IN Process to "Medicals". I Received a mail on September 1st that they have receive the file, probably the file transferred from CIC Nova Scotia to NDVO.

How much time in general it takes to receive medicals these days?

There are different criteria for Application received before and after January 01, 2015
File received after January 01, 2015 supposed to move faster as per CIC.

did u receive tv....
as in mine case some ques during tv mismatchd..
thats why i got cmail.....

I got TV on 29th June and Cmail on 30th June ( the next day ) , replied to them on 15th July with all the proof of documents ( bank statement /PF statement/pay slip etc etc ) still no revert :-\

If so , any correspondence between the medical and the Sept 30th email !

Hi Doc,
We have not done the medicals ,since we never got CIC email for medical request and that was the reason mentioned for refusing our application (sep 30th email) . Attorney had sent an email to CIC for reconsideration (lost email notification - background ) and still waiting for CIC to respond. However ECAS online shows medicals received :
yesterday ,thats the weird part.

Hello All,

Need all your help and advice!!!

We are planning to do the landing first and come back to our current country.
so my question is:
Can we stay there for a week apply for the PR card,give our relatives address and come back,so that they cold collect it for us.

Is this ok?

Do we face any problems when we go back to canada after a year or so??

Buddy,

I will wait for seniors to respond...but I have seen many people do this....They can collect the PR cards and send it to you through courier (whether its is legal or not - I am not sure).
Then you can use that PR card when you come back after an year to enter Canada...

Do i need to show proof of funds at port of entry or the job offer will suffice the officer.

yes this is legal and you can go back and someone may send you that by courier ..

Most likely nobody will ask for proof of fund at POE, Since you already have a job offer u are fine.
