I have urgent query

I am getting job offer from Canadian company who is registered in Canada and have head quarters in Canada

I will be full time employee and will be getting salary in CAD

but only issue is they will send me to USA or Dubai for 1 year to complete few projects

will that be counted as present days in Canada ? for citizenship this time will be counted ?

God is great. Yesterday got my passports back with my visa and COPR. I did my medicals on 18 sep 2015 and got DM on 1 October 2015. Thanks all the forum members for their support at every step. Again one thing, on my copr papers my port of landing is mentioned Toronto, but i filled Edmonton in my application. I dont think that will be a issue. I will be travelling to Edmonton via Toronto.

I could be wrong but I don't think so that time will counts as you will be outside country and only time accounts when you are in Canada.

Hi All ,

I am one of the "Medical request -lost email" candidate. My application was rejected on Sep 30th stating documents were not submitted for the medical request email sent by CIC(email never received by attorney).
My attorney had applied for reconsideration under lost email case ,2 weeks back.

Today in ECAS, all of a sudden an additional "Medical request received" line was added . Although we have not submitted medicals . Do you guys think this is a good sign ? . Below is my status in ECAS.

We received your application for permanent residence on July 30, 2014.
We started processing your application on November 18, 2014.
We transferred your application to the New Delhi office on November 25, 2014. The New Delhi office may contact you.
We sent you correspondence on February 19, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
We sent you medical instructions on February 19, 2015. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

I mean, in the bureaucratic side, are there any other verifications or departments my application needs to go through?
