Dear Rajiv,

If you have all PCC in hand, send it directly to VO, mentioning the UCI no. on the envelope along with a cover letter. VO will park these with your application and the routine background check will start simultaneously. This will save your waiting time significantly.

Don't wait for the PCC request from VO, do it upfront for all countries where you stayed more than 6months continuously. You will see the result!

Best wishes.

Thanks for advice MSA22

My problem is PER says not to forward any document until its requested and not sure which office I should send it to as I haven't received AOR yet as I noticed lot of applications submitted to NDVO were transferred to different VO.

If they have requested you to submit documents earlier then submit else
By All means don't.
DO NOT SUBMIT ANY DOCUMENTS UNLESS REQUESTED.... This has been quoted - re-quoted multiple times in this forum by seniors and in many places.

If it says Decision Made as overall status then yes, it most likely is Decision Made, even if there doesn't exist a line. Wait for PPR or any other correspondence from VO to find out the D! Shouldn't take too long. Good luck!

Thank you Jaxon911

I would disagree here, a valid PCC should be submitted with application which is recommended but not necessary, VO will ask for it along with medicals but if one has PCC ready from all countries they should send them to respective VO office. This helps high commission to initiate security and background checks, which should be done asap

Chances for remedical?

My app lockin date in 26-May-2014. My medical was on 18-Nov-2014.
I still have not gotten the PPR or the decision made. The last communication from the NDVO was a month and half back asking me to submit the copy of my son's latest passport. They also mentioned that my application in the final verification process and they need this to complete it. Since then they went back to silence.

My Question there is just 3 more months left on my medical. Looking at the the phase they are processing it seems realistically impossible them sending the decision made, PPR mail, me requesting to getting the visa stamped in the US, them responding to my request, me submitting the passport and then returning it and me giving the notice to my employer among other stuff.

Is there a chance that they will ask me to go for a remedical to get one more year. Looks like they have done it in the past. Not sure how long should be left in my medical.

Thanks for your advice

I second can2174 opinion on this matter. The reason being that i personally forwarded my missing pcc and some other documents without even asked by visa office and it eventually helped in speedy processing of my case.

Here is my take on what u shud do. Scan ur pcc and if u havent received AOR it probably means ur file is with NDVO so send the scan copies via email to NDVO along with ur application details, and reason why u r sending these pcc. U will get to know ur visa office as well as there is no harm in trying

Hi Jars,

Please check PM

Suggestions please..

Looking for an affordable and decent place to stay at Toronto. I will need to stay for 2-3 weeks till I find a rented house.vNote that I'm landing with family.

:)

Dear all,

After waiting for a long time, I received a mail for medical examination, RPRF and some additional documents. I am going to clinic for medical test after few days.

Can anyone please tell me the followings;

1. Do they conduct eye test (vision test)? if yes, is it for both adult and kid?
2. Do I need to send some documents to visa office as a proof which shows that I completed the medical test? if yes, what documents should I ask for (for example, receipt or any proof that shows I completed medical test) in clinic.

Thank you.

From job point of view, you should enter ASAP. Earlier you go, earlier you're likely to find a job. Best thing to do is keep enough time to research different areas including housing options and land without family initially. Just so you know there won't be much recruitment going on in December / early January. February is ok but you'll deal with harshest period of winter first up. If you can handle it then fine, otherwise keep your plans for March.

thanks Jaxon,

In that case I would prefer to land in Feb end or early march next year...it will allow more than 2 months to get a job and then call my family over there.
